Parts and requests

Who receives my email and questions?

Our customer service team receives all email requests. Please feel free to ask us any questions you have. Our goal is to make sure that the part you get is the part you need.

With your email request, please include as much detail as possible about your order or the item you are looking for. Also, include the VIN, the name of the part you are looking for, and any other relevant information when applicable.

Returns and refunds

May I return a part if it does not fit?

Yes. If we recommended a part that is marked on our website as compatible with your vehicle but isn't, you are covered under our 30-day no-hassle warranty from the date stamped on the receipt.

May I return a part if it is the wrong color?

Yes. Thanks to our No Hassle Return Policy

What can I do if I receive a damaged part?

If you receive a damaged part, you must sign for the shipment as "received damaged". The shipping company will then be responsible for the damaged part.

After receiving and signing for the part, contact our Customer Service team at (877) 255-6369, and we'll assist you with the claim and replacement process.

Shipping and Delivery

How long will it take to deliver my order?

Generally, orders will be delivered to you within 5-10 business days depending on location, distance to be shipped, and shipping method needed. We work quickly to process your order within 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday excluding holidays) after we have received full payment.

Keep in mind that if you place an order on a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday we will process your order on the following business day.

Tracking your order

You will need to provide a valid email address to receive your tracking information within 1-3 business days. Check your inbox folder to make sure your tracking information from Auto Discount Warehouse arrives. Depending on your email settings some automatically generated communication could be flagged as spam or junk.

Delayed Order?

It is possible for orders to be delayed. The most common reason for a delay is incomplete information that is required for processing. This information could include, shipping address, billing information, credit card processing, or even an invalid email address. You will be contacted via email (if possible) within 48 hours of receiving your order if there is a delay.

We do not ship to a Post Office Box or APO. If your order is freight (including engines, seats, transmissions and other large items), Auto Discount Warehouse will require a name, physical address, and daytime phone number to arrange delivery.

Handling Fees

Most handling fees are included in the shipping charge. This covers packing materials that are necessary and needed to make certain your part arrives safely.

Is it possible to arrange my own shipping?

No. It is not possible to arrange your own shipping for items purchased at Auto Discount Warehouse. We choose our shipping carriers carefully based on the type of part being shipped. At Auto Discount Warehouse we follow a strict process for selecting the shipping method that best serves the customer.

Shipping outside the United States?

Auto Discount Warehouse only ships orders inside the continental US (48 states). Currently, we are unable to ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, or elsewhere overseas.

How will you ship my order?

Most of the time, items purchased from Auto Discount Warehouse ship via UPS Ground. Occasionally, parts will ship using FedEx. Large and oversized parts are shipped using LTL freight carriers. We do not ship via the United States Postal Service and therefore we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or APO addresses.

Shipping Large Items via LTL Freight.

Shipping large items can vary in cost. Shipping costs can range from $100 to $1,000 depending on the item. These items are shipped on pallets and need to be shipped to a location with docking and forklift facilities. You can also have these items shipped to a freight terminal.

*If you are shipping to a residential location (or any location without a loading dock), there will be a lift gate fee added to your order.

In order to avoid delivery delays, you need to provide a phone number, name, and address for your freight delivery. The freight company will contact you to arrange delivery. A person over the age of eighteen must be present to sign for the delivery. The freight company will not be responsible for unloading items or carrying them into your building. It is recommended that you have access to a forklift for these heavy items.

Why is shipping an airbag so expensive?

The United States Department of Transportation considers airbags to be hazardous materials and requires special care to ship them safely. Only two airbags can be combined if they ship from the same locations. For the most part, modules are not necessarily included with airbags unless otherwise stated.

*Due to New York State Law banning the installation of used airbags in vehicles, Auto Discount Warehouse cannot ship airbags to New York addresses.

Airbags cannot ship by air and Auto Discount Warehouse does not ship them outside the continental United States. To learn more, please visit www.dot.gov.

Are parts guaranteed to color match my car?

No. Auto Discount Warehouse sells used original equipment (OE) parts from various makes and models. Since the vehicles are used, we cannot guarantee a color match due to fading and other environmental factors. We recommend that you consult an automotive painting professional about painting the parts to match your vehicle.

*We cannot accept parts that are returned after having been painted. Please verify your part is correct before having it painted.

Warranties

What sort of warranty will I receive with my purchase?

All items sold through Auto Discount Warehouse except airbags, seat belt assemblies, and tires (sold "as is") carry a free warranty for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Should there be any defect in a part we ship, we guarantee to replace it, repair it, or refund your purchase price.

Payments

Can I pay for or pick up my Auto Discount Warehouse order at a local facility?

No. Auto Discount Warehouse is a web-based online store only and does not offer sales at a physical location.

I have already paid for my item but still owe sales tax. How do I pay for that?

We accept both PayPal and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) for sales tax payments. If your PayPal account with Auto Discount Warehouse shows a balance, we will contact you using the information provided at checkout to arrange for payment.
